We are at the foot of Montgròs, surrounded by woodland and vineyards, just five minutes from the centre of Sant Pere de Ribes. It is an environment that shapes everyday life: a place to explore, move freely, self-regulate and learn through experience.

At El Petit Edèn, we do not simply “go out into nature”: we live and learn within it. Reading can happen under a tree, a conversation can begin among the vineyards, and play unfolds through shade, logs, soil, leaves and the changing seasons.

El Petit Edèn is more than just a place: the environment is an active part of the project. Both indoor and outdoor spaces adapt to the group’s dynamics and to what is needed at any given moment.

In everyday life, we combine play, exploration and calm with experiential learning and educational activities, including literacy, mathematical thinking, and artistic and physical expression.

Our spaces

The outdoors is the thread that runs through life at El Petit Edèn: a living environment that connects, extends and enriches the day. From there, the project unfolds across a range of connected, complementary spaces that adapt to the group’s needs and rhythms.

The El Petit Edèn House (Early Years)

A welcoming space designed for the Early Years stage. It includes different corners and materials that evolve with the group: imaginative play, playful learning invitations, quiet areas, a library and small-scale exploration materials.

The Petit Gran Edèn House (Primary)

The space for Primary-aged children, with materials and dedicated areas for literacy, mathematical thinking, reading, board games, music and inquiry-based learning. Everything is organised flexibly around the group’s pace and interests.

A large open area where free play and exploration play a central role. There are tables, shaded areas, a sandpit, play spaces and many trees offering endless possibilities for movement, discovery and play.

The Outdoors

The Kitchen / Dining Area

A space where everyday life is also part of learning. Children set the table, clear away and wash their own dishes, taking care of both the space and the group. It is a place for connection, care and independence.

The Vegetable Garden

A large growing area that children help to look after. A space to observe, sow, harvest and connect with the cycles of nature through real, meaningful learning.

A flexible space that can become a quiet retreat, a place for small-group gatherings or a setting for a particular learning invitation.

The Tipi

The Art House

A space dedicated to creativity and artistic and physical expression, where materials and learning invitations take shape through hands-on experiences.
