A project we build together: educators and families.

El Petit Edèn is made up of the educational team and the families, together with their children. We are a community that cares for childhood and for meaningful relationships, and together we make the project possible, day after day.

The project is built on shared responsibility:

The educational team supports everyday life and holds the pedagogical vision.
Families help sustain the community and support the organisation.

This allows us to create a coherent, close-knit environment rooted in genuine relationships.

How we support children

The educators at El Petit Edèn form a caring, respectful team that honours each child’s developmental journey, their desire to learn and their innate curiosity.

We bring the pedagogical vision of the project and create a warm, familiar environment built on trust and care, where each child can be fully themselves, make choices, build meaningful relationships with others and, above all, learn at their own pace.

We learn every day alongside the children, supporting them as they experiment, explore and connect with both their inner world and the world around them, in daily contact with nature. We offer presence, structure and trust.

In everyday life, this means:

Attentive presence and thoughtful boundaries — safety, calm and consistency.
Observation and active listening — respecting individual rhythms and needs.
Experiential learning invitations and free play — learning through exploration and creativity.

In line with our mission, family participation is essential to nurturing a strong sense of community. We organise ourselves into working groups at the beginning of each year, and this involvement helps the project run smoothly and ensures that its needs are met.

We are a family association

We are a family association: the project is built together, bringing coherence, transparency and a genuine sense of community.

Joining the community

When a family joins, we support them in understanding how the project works so they can take part at a pace that feels manageable for them.

Clear and realistic participation

Participation matters, but we organise it in a sustainable way: each family contributes according to their availability and at their own pace.
